After the page loads, note the error that appears. If a message appears saying Internal Server Error (503), then that means that our Image Server is down. However, if you get an error at the bottom of Internet Explorer that says
DNS error or page cannot be displayed, do the following:- This is a test:
- Go to Start and then select run from the menu.
- Type in "command" (without the quotes) and hit OK.
- In the DOS window, type in "ping 74.86.163.98"
- you should get something similar to:

- If you get anything other then this then you need to check other knowledge base articles on connection issues.
- The next step is to type in "ping www.picture2life.com".
- You might get something similar to this:
Example 2:
C:\> ping www.picture2life.com ping reqest could not find host www.picture2life.com please check the name and try again.
- If you get the same as the first example above, then you should be online and if you cannot view web pages, check the knowledge base for Cannot view web pages.
- If your screen shows something similar to example 2 then this is usually a DNS issue.
- The next section will instruct you on how to enter the DNS numbers.
Winxp/2000:
- Go to control panel.
- If windows xp, go to network and internet connections, and then internet options.
- If windows 2000, go to internet options.
- Click on connections.
- Click on settings.
- Click on properties.
- Click on Networking.
- Double click on Internet Protocol (tcp/ip)
- Select use the following DNS server Addresses.
- Put in the Preferred DNS Server and the Alternate DNS server (Provided by your ISP and should look like: 209.193.68.2)
- Select OK out of the remaining screens.
WinMe, 98/95.
- Go to Control Panel.
- Go to Internet options.
- Click on connections.
- Click on Setttings.
- Click on Properties.
- Click on Network.
- If win98/95 this will be the server types tab not the network tab.
- Select tcp/ip settings.
- Select specify name server addresses.
- Type in the Primary DNS and the Secondary DNS (Provided by your ISP and should look like: 209.193.68.2)
- Select OK out of the remaining screens.
